Shop local this Christmas on Hawarden Estate

It’s not too late to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts and you don’t have to travel far to find some fantastic inspiration.

There is an entrepreneurial Christmas spirit in Hawarden this year, with an excellent selection of local and independent traders offering some fantastic gift ideas for your loved ones (or maybe just a treat for yourself!).

Of course, there is the Estate’s own Farm Shop. Here you can get creative and gather together a selection of delicious, locally sourced treats in to your own bespoke hamper; and there is still time to pick up an Estate grown Christmas tree. http://www.hawardenestate.co.uk/

The Glynne Arms, the Farm Shop’s sister business, follows the same ethos of working in partnership with local food and drink producers to showcase the best of what our region has to offer, and is great place for a festive get together. http://www.theglynnearms.co.uk/

Cedar House Flowers on Glynne Way has a stunning range of wreaths, cut flowers and seasonal arrangements, perfect for gifting or to add the finishing touch to your Christmas table.

The Trilby Pheasant has been part of the Hawarden community for well over a year now and has recently relocated to 7-9 Glynne Way. It is impossible to pass by this shop without something interesting catching your eye. The place is jam packed with items specially selected for their uniqueness and quality. And, if you really can’t decide, gift vouchers are also available.  http://trilbypheasant.co.uk/

Hawarden Post Office is a very busy place at this time of year. In addition to making sure all of our cards and gifts are shipped off in time, the Post Office also supports local businesses by stocking an interesting selection of handmade gifts. You can also pick up a last minute bottle of fizz or two!
